Thetford Recreation General Guidelines


REGISTRATION: Registration forms must be completed and returned to the Rec department by the deadline listed or the first date of the program if no deadline is listed. Registration forms may be completed on-line by the deadline date, however payment must still be mailed in with your on-line registration receipt. All registration forms received or completed on-line after the deadline date will be considered late, and assessed a late fee. If a program is cancelled by the Recreation Department, a full refund will be issued.
Insurance: Thetford Recreation is not liable for any injury sustained during any activity. Parents are responsible for providing insurance for there own children participating during any season of activity thru the recreation department.

SCHOLARSHIPS: Thetford Recreation wants to give all residents the opportunity to participate. Funds and discounts are available for those in need. Complete a confidential scholarship request form and return it to the rec department.

LATE FEES: If any activity has a deadline date, all registrations for that activity received or completed on-line after that date will be assessed a $10 late fee, unless otherwise noted on the registration information.

REFUND POLICY: The program fee less $10 will be refunded for cancellation on or after the start date of the class/program. The program fee less $5 will be refunded for cancellation 1 week before the start date of the class/program. A full refund will be given for cancellations two weeks or more before the start date of the class/program, except the babysitting and home alone classes, as materials need to be purchased in advance by the instructor.  Requests for refunds must be made prior to the conclusion of the program.

NON RESIDENTS: Non residents are welcome in all our programs. There is typically a slightly higher fee, which will be listed in the program information. For all youth sports, non-residents are permitted to join only if their town of residence does not offer the same program, and provided there is room on the appropriate team.
