Baseball will be a bit different this year. We will play in the Upper Valley Baseball recreation league, instead of a Cal Ripken League. We are offering:
T-Ball program for Kindegarten and 1st Graders meeting on weekday afternoon and Saturday mornings.
Rookies program for 2nd and 3rd Graders meeting on weekday afternoon and Saturday mornings. The Rookies program offers a short season of games against other area programs and is Coach Pitch.
Minors Ball for 3rd and 4th Graders meeting on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays in Post Mills. Minors is the first time where the game is Kid-pitch. Minors has a full season of games against teams throughout the Upper Valley.
Majors Ball for 5th and 6th Graders meeting on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays in Post Mills. Majors plays a full season of games though-out the Upper Valley and end the season with competitive tournament against Upper Valley teams.
Softball for girls in grades 3-6. We will offer softball at TES on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. We will play other teams through-out the area. Girls in 6th grade are invited to play with the Middle School team at Thetford Academy.
Thetford will not hold try-outs for our various teams. We will however ask parents to speak with their player and determine the best division to sign up for. If there are holes in any specific division at the close of registration on March 20, 2016, we will then ask players and parents to consider alternative placements.
